Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two part time consultant psychiatrist with our H&F South Mental Health Integrated Network Teams (MINT)
South MINT –6 PAs working based at Claybrook Centre. The MINT model is aimed to better meet individual needs with MDT by developing good relationship with the local Primary Care Network (PCN). This is a transformed services and the workload assessment is based on current patterns of referrals as well as existing caseloads combined. There are 5 PCNs (primary care networks) in Hammersmith and Fulham and each of these is supported by an MDT. One whole time Consultant Psychiatrist is allocated to each of the PCNs. Within each team, there is a whole team approach to caseloads.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work collaboratively with our Team Manager and existing Consultant Liaison Psychiatrists to provide leadership and clinical expertise to the liaison team and ensure we deliver an excellent, responsive and high quality service.
The post holder will be pivotal to the development of the ethos of the team and the further integration of the Liaison Psychiatry Services with the Acute and West London NHS Trusts through development of and maintenance of good relationships and collaborative partnerships.
The post holder will be an active member of the SMT for liaison psychiatry, and will oversea any related service improvement and development projects within the service.

- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

- Qualification or higher degree in clinical research or management
Eligibility
Essential criteria
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice at the time of appointment
- GMC Specialist Register or within six months
- Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
- Good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice
- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve with 3 months of appointment
