The post holder will support the general cardiology service by participating in a 1 in 9 cardiology on-call rota (full-shift) including emergency cardiology admissions and primary PCI. As well as clinical commitments to in-patient and out-patient care in all sub-specialties, there will be training opportunities in multi-modality imaging (transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI), angiography/PCI and pacing (brachytherapy and complex devices) across both sites and we strongly advise the successful candidate to be fully involved in these excellent training opportunities. These can also be tailored based on the successful candidate's personal experience and aspirations.
