Job overview

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician or Science Manufacturing Technician with extensive aseptic manufacturing experience to join our growing and forward-thinking Pharmacy Aseptic Services Department at Northwick Park Hospital.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to become part of our dedicated team working in our new state-of-the-art aseptic unit. The facility features modern cleanroom design, advanced isolator technology, and digital process controls, supporting the delivery of high-quality aseptic preparation and manufacturing services.

Main duties of the job

·         To take responsibility for the day-to-day organisation and planning of the PN and Cytotoxic compounding service of the aseptic unit at pharmacy Northwick Park Hospital according to the principles of GMP and QA

·         Provides specialist Aseptic support to Senior Pharmacist Aseptic Services and the Lead Technician of Aseptic Services.

·         To manage and supervise the provision of pharmacy aseptic services especially in the chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition (PN) reconstitution to all areas of the Hospital.

·         Monitor resources, activities, and adherence to quality assurance in chemotherapy and PN reconstitution.

·         Assist the senior manager in developing Aseptic services in line with Trust and Pharmacy department development policies.
