Job overview

The post holder will have a modality overview of Core Services’ needs, to ensure effective co-ordination and allocation of resources. The individual will work very closely with the Core Services Superintendent radiographer, Senior radiographers and Radiographers in provision of Imaging Services at Newham site .

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for providing support to, and will form part of the Core Services Steam. Working under Core Services Radiographers supervision to provide the highest standard of patient care.

The post holder will schedule and organise Inpatient lists for Core Services department, liaising with portering staff, wards and hospital clinicians to ensure that the patients are transported safely and appropriately to and from the Imaging department and that patients are scheduled for the correct examination.

The post holder will be responsible for cannulating patients for Core Services department.

The post holder will be responsible for daily stock in the Core Services. To support in leading the technical /radiographic staffing across site and further develop an efficient Core Services at the Newham University Hospital (NUH).
