Job overview
Exciting opportunities have arisen for highly motivated, dedicated and experienced band 6 Senior Radiographers to join the team at the newly developed Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and at the Ealing Hospital Acute Site.
The successful candidates will work in both the CDC and in the acute department at Ealing Hospital and will provide diagnostic services to the sector using brand new state of the art equipment.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to be able to: -
- Work within a team of Radiography, clerical and clinical staff within the Trust
- Provide a high standard of expertise and care
- Participate in plain Radiography, DEXA, CT and MRI providing 7 day service
- Participate in a 3 long and 1 short day shift rota across all modalities of the centre.
There may be requirements for the candidate to work across the Trust sites.

Person specification
Education/ Qualifications
Essential criteria
- BSc Radiography or equivalent.
- Current HCPC Registration
Desirable criteria
- Attendance at relevant study days and courses
- Post graduate qualification in Radiographic subject
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- CT or MRI Experience.
- Good knowledge and experience of all general aspects of radiography.
- Experience of working in the NHS
- Evidence of CPD since qualification
Desirable criteria
- Experience of training and teaching junior members of staff
- Experience in DEXA scanning
Skills, Abilities and Attributes
Essential criteria
- Good written & verbal communication
- Understanding of team work.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to learn and develop
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of QA testing
