Consultant Respiratory Physicians (x3 Full-Time Posts)
London North-West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWHT) is seeking to appoint three full-time Consultant Respiratory Physicians to support the continued expansion of its dynamic and growing Respiratory service
These new posts follow a recent increase in the consultant workforce and will be based primarily at Ealing Hospital, with cross-site working at Northwick Park Hospital and/or Central Middlesex Hospital. All roles include a two-session commitment to General Internal Medicine/Acute Medicine. Applicants must hold a CCT in Respiratory Medicine and General Medicine, and be registered with the GMC.
- Two posts will have a subspecialty focus on lung cancer and pleural disease
- One post will focus on Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) and general respiratory care

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- On GMC registered Medical Practitioner GMC specialist registration or within 6 months of CCT
- MRCP
Desirable criteria
- MD, PhD or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
- Broad based training in Respiratory and its sub-specialties
- Independent at bronchoscopy
- Independent at pleural ultrasound/aspiration
- ILD experience
Desirable criteria
- NHS experience within last 3 years
- Experience of indwelling pleural catheter insertion
Skills
Essential criteria
- Broad based general professional training in general medicine
Desirable criteria
- Independence at EBUS / indwelling pleural catheter insertion (post specific)
