An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trainee mammographer to join the team at St Georges Hospital and South West London Breast Screening Service.
The successful candidate will complete an 18 month training course with St Georges Breast Education Centre in conjunction with Kingston University. After successful completion of the course and ratification of the results, progression will be made to Band 6.
The role offers the opportunity to deliver the National Breast Screening Programme, both at St Georges' s Hospital and at 6 satellite screening sites around South West London.
The greatest resource we have is the team which comprises Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, Consultant Practitioners, Radiologists, Breast Care Nurses and HCA's.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
