Job overview

This is a great time to join The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Senior Patient Administrator.

We are currently in the process of redeveloping the hospital to provide a new state-of-the-art hospital for the residents of Hillingdon, and beyond, which supports the very best in delivery of healthcare and will be fit for our future.

The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare to patients by providing an administrative service focused on the patient and their individual needs. The Senior Patient Administrator will provide effective and efficient administrative support to a team liaising with patients, doctors and other healthcare professionals. The staff member will work consistently to provide high quality customer service and will be professional at all times. 

Main duties of the job

Provide high-quality administrative support to the Urology team.
Coordinate appointments, investigations, results, and patient pathways.
Monitor cancer and RTT targets, escalating delays or capacity concerns.
Act as a key contact for patients, carers, clinicians, GPs, and other services.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical correspondence.
Support efficient clinic operations and assist with training and service improvement.

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’S, including English and Maths, or equivalent experience
