Job overview
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to develop the new Community Rehabilitation Team to support service users experiencing complex psychosis.
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Team Administrator join this exciting endeavour. The successful candidate will have experience working in administration and be able to undertake all tasks and responsibilities within this area.
You will receive supervision and your personal development will be supported through our appraisal process.
The team is a trust wide service covering all five boroughs across the Pennine Care footprint. We are currently based at Trust HQ in Ashton Under Lyne although this is subject to change. Our core hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
Main duties of the job
- To receive and deal with all incoming telephone calls and take messages
- Retrieving voicemail messages and responding to callers.
Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external contacts - Collect, collate, input and extract data into/from NHS systems as directed by Team Manager (e.g. Paris, Theseus and associated systems, SMART, CHIS, Electronic Staffing Records, Team activity, referral/discharge stats).
- Responsible for the safe storage of data and information in accordance with Trust Policy.
- Maintain administrative systems set up in team offices to ensure an organised and efficient working environment for staff.
- Undertaking various clerical duties such as, photocopying, filing and dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Basic word processing, which may include letter, memos, notes, record cards, messages and email communication.
- Notify patients of appointments and cancellations by issuing computerised letters.
- Update in house systems and e-referral as required.

- NVQ 3 or equivalent experience
- Working experience of Microsoft software.
- Office procedures and systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Trust staff and external agencies
- Good keyboard skills
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Good organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team member and individually.
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
