Job overview

The Bury Specialist Community Mental Health Team has an exciting vacancy for a Team Administrator.

The successful candidate will provide full administrative support to the Bury Specialist Community Mental Health Team.

There is an expectation that the successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and manage all referrals and enquiries received into the team effectively.

 

 

Main duties of the job

  • Provide essential administrative support to the Clinical Team.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping. 
  • Minute taking and meeting support.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage phone calls from service users and professionals.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Evidence of further training NVQ L3
Desirable criteria
  • Paris training

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in health care setting
Desirable criteria
  • Experience working in a CMHT as admin

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Evidence of an interest in Mental Health
  • Evidence of compassionate attitude
Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of knowledge of common mental illnesses
