Essential

Essential criteria

Registered Mental Health Nurse
Educated to degree level or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Substantial experience as a senior mental health practitioner within the NHS.
Experience of delivery of clinical supervision
Able to demonstrate managerial experience or potential.
Extensive experience of working with patients with complex mental health needs.
Working with multiagency safeguarding procedures. Experience of supervising the work of junior staff.
Understanding key principles within mental health services
Role and function of key partners in statutory and non-statutory agencies
Team cultures and influencing factors in implementing change
Ability to manage, motivate and supervise a professional MDT.
Ability to identify and define team and individual training/development.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to function and make decisions in high pressure clinical environments.
Ability to manage own emotions and deal with others in highly charged situations
Ability to critically appraise incidents to ensure appropriate learning is identified and used to improve practice.

Desirable criteria

Management Qualification.
Experience of business planning.

Paloma Health has developed a new gold-standard autism assessment pathway and our own Patient Record software system, which allows us to offer:

An exceptional service and timely assessments, as well as clear strengths and needs-based outcomes, regardless of whether an autism diagnosis is made.
High assessor role satisfaction by improving the experience of delivering assessments. For example, we are building an AI tool to streamline diagnostic report writing, which we know is a pressure of the role.
