An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the GMMH Estates Senior Management Team
(SMT) as the Energy & Sustainability Manager within the Capital, Estates & Facilities directorate. You will join a forward-thinking group, with a proven record of delivery and a mentality that continually strives to evolve and improve.
As the Energy & Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, operational management and delivery of the organisation’s green plan initiatives, maximising resource and investment towards achieving specific sustainability goals, whilst exploring new opportunities to improve performance and effectiveness, in a sustainable and efficient way.
As an experienced professional, you will possess strong communication skills with the ability to provide expert advice and convey complex information to various stakeholders, and be confident in representing the organisation at a regional level.
You will be a vision-led individual with ambition and a strong desire to make a difference and help steer the Trust forwards to support the growth of the organisation as a leading provider of mental health and addictions services in Greater Manchester.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will need to work closely with the Capital, Estates and Facilities (CEF) senior leadership team to ensure compliance with Contractual terms and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) with particular focus on statutory, mandatory, and best practice compliance and due diligence audits.
The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values GMMH service users' and their carers. The post holder will embrace the core values of the organisation.
