Clinical Educator - Acute Care Team (RN/RM)

Are you a Registered Nurse or Midwife who has experience and an interested in acute care that can easily work with a range of disciplines at different levels?

If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you to join our existing team of clinical educators which are part of the Acute Care Team.

As an Acute Care Clinical Educator you will have a varied role and an opportunity to work across all hospital sites, primarily based at NMGH. You will be passionate about enhancing and improving acute care through education, health IT, audit, clinical support and working with teams to improve the quality of care.  This role requires cross site working across all hospital sites.

Job share/secondment candidates will be considered for this role.

Main duties of the job

This role will support the Senior Clinical Educator in implementing education, training and development strategies in relation to acute care to relevant staff groups.

Working with the Senior Clinical Educator the post holder will contribute to improvement of standards to care through collaboration of staff groups participating in audit and research.

In conjunction with the Matron and Senior Clinical Educator the post holder will ensure the workforce is fit for purpose in terms of caring for the acutely unwell adult and that individual/ role competencies are reviewed to provide safe, high quality and efficient service.
