The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process.  Act as a mentor/preceptor to students. The post holder will maintain high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis.

As a band 5 on Ward 62 you will have a pivotal  role in the team dynamics. Responsible to the ward manager. You will deliver gold standard care to patients and their families during their stay in hospital. Your role will be to provide care to patients from admission to discharge, ensuring trust standards are met throughout. Communication skills are paramount in this role to ensure a full holistic approach is given to patient care
