Trosolwg o'r swydd
Applications are invited for the above posts for a period of 6 months to support the Paediatric Orthopaedic services at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is a Major Trauma Centre for North West region. The department provides Secondary Trauma Services to the local area and Tertiary Children’s Trauma for the Greater Manchester area. Tertiary Paediatric Orthopaedic Services include those for children with neuro-muscular problems, limb length discrepancy and congenital hip and foot problems.
Currently there are ten Paediatric Orthopaedic Consultants, twelve middle grade staff including Specialty Trainees from North West Deanery and Specialty Doctors/Clinical Fellows (including this post). There is a Specialist Nurse for patients with an external fixator and an Extended Scope Practitioner in Physiotherapy.
Due to the short-term nature of the role, the successful candidate must hold a current registration with the GMC at the time of application, whether it be an active licence, ceased licence or a pending application - MFT cannot support GMC Sponsorship for vacancies less than 12 months fixed term. Candidates who do not fit this criteria will not progress through to the shortlisting stage.
