MFT are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to support and enhance the development of the Renal AdCKD nursing service.

Main duties of the job

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Renal Team as an AdCKD specialist Nurse.  If you’re looking for career development as a Renal Specialist Nurse working with Renal patients then you're in the right place.

MFT are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to support and enhance the development of the Renal AdCKD nursing service.

We are interested in hearing from nurses who have at least 1 year experience at Band 6 in Renal Medicine. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, aspirational and caring with a clear interest in Renal patient education. They will be able to work within our well established AdCKD nursing team to support Renal patients with a primary focus on Transplantation, Home dialysis therapies and Conservative management. They will be able to support patients psychosocial needs and build confidence and trust. They will be able to work autonomously and make independent decisions whilst contributing fully to the MDT. This is an excellent opportunity to gain further knowledge and experience within this specialty and further develop your clinical skills.   There will be opportunities to develop autonomous practice, experiencing high level work and develop specialist skills with support from the Renal Consultants and Specialist nursing team.

Experience

  • Minimum band 6 level

  • Renal dialysis/home therapies experience
