Job overview
The post holder will provide management support to the Directorate and assist the clinical teams in the delivery of safe and effective clinical services, ensuring that all target, deadlines and objectives are delivered. The post holder will manage all secretarial, clerical and other administrative staff within their Directorates.
They will coordinate the investigation and response to clinical and other complaints within appropriate timescales in the absence of the Divisional complaints manager. The post holder will be required to cover appropriate duties of the Directorate Manager in their absence and provide cover to other Directorates as service needs arise.
They will participate in Directorate patient flow arrangements.
This post is cross site working and is desirable that the successful candidate has a full UK driving license. This post will work across both Respiratory and Cardiology to ensure the successful implementation and Operational management of the Community Diagnostic Centre.
