This an exciting opportunity to come and join our acute medical wards L8.  L8 provides care for patients with a variety of clinical presentations and conditions, ranging from respiratory, gastrointestinal,   cardiology  and diabetes and endocrine conditions, with patients usually being admitted directly from our Emergency Assessment Unit.

Using your clinical experience and skills you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of programmes of care, both for a specific group of patients as the named care provider and in supporting the care of all patients on the ward / unit.

You will be supported within a strong management structure, providing excellence in care, and encouragement to maximise your potential, development and success. We welcome both newly qualified nurses and experienced nurses wanting to develop their knowledge and skills in general medical care.  You will be supported by the senior nurses on your chosen ward  and have a supernumerary period to enable you to orientate yourself to the ward before caring for your caseload of patients.
