Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 6 Specialist Audiologist (Adults) to join Salford Audiology Service.

Salford Audiology Service is a multi-site service, which is provided across Acute, Community and Educational settings. We provide a full range of Adult and Paediatric Audiology Services, including NHSP, Diagnostics and Rehabilitation, Baha, Comprehensive Vestibular Assessment, Tinnitus Assessment and Management and Learning Disability Service.  

Main duties of the job

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive, dynamic and forward thinking individual to join Salford Audiology Service. You will have knowledge and experience of routine and non-routine adult assessment and rehabilitation, demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills and have a flexible adaptable approach to your work load. 

For this post you will be qualified to BSc (Hons) / MSc Audiology or equivalent BAA Part I and II and you should be registered with AHCS or HCPC and eligible to work within the UK.  Clinical Educator experience is desirable to take over the role of Placement Co-Ordinator.
