These are HSS Complex NF1 and NF2. Additional duties in St. Marys will include input into the Regional Huntington service.

Main duties of the job

Both HSS (NF1 and NF2) services are part of National Networks with clinical, academic and research opportunities. Both services are benchmarked with other National Centres (4 for NF2) and (1 for complex NF1) with annual audits and outcomes presented at Annual NHS England CQUINN. (2023-2024 data attached)

Three days of the week (6 sessions) will be dedicated to Complex NF1 as outlined in the job plan below.

This role will also include general neurology clinics and exposure to subspeciality services in Neurology at MCCN.

MCCN covers the region of 3.1 adult million population and there will be opportunities to work within specialist movement disorder, neuromuscular disorders, cognitive neurology and neurometabolic disorders.
