Covid-19 Pre-Admission Screening Assistant

Main purpose of the job:
To ensure all eligible patients are booked in for a pre-admission Covid-19 screen and receive a seamless service from the appointment being booked to the result being received.
Main duties of the job
To support with patient reminder phone calls before patients come in to hospital.
You will form part of a team who work collaboratively in ensuring that our patients have the best possible experiencing from the beginning of their journey with our hospital.
To support other administration duties within Peri-operative Care as and when required.

- Grade C or above at GCSE Level in English and Maths
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Administration Experience
- Ability to organise work independantly and adapt to changing priorities
- Work as a team member
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Experience in dealing with the public
- Previous NHS Experience in an administrative role
- Familiar with the use of Patient Centre & EPR
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
