Band 5
Job overview
If you already have some experience working as a qualified radiographer, there is an opportunity to advance through the department’s Band 5/6 progression pathway.
Perform a high standard of imaging within plain film, theatres and mobile examinations, with rotation into CT, whilst maintaining exceptional patient care. Work as part of our great team and as an individual unsupervised as part of the 24-hour imaging service. Manage your own workload of patients, keeping accurate associated records. Provide support and supervision to our students and assistant practitioners. Use own initiative in problem solving and decision-making regarding workflow and IR(ME)R regulations. Effectively communicate with the multidisciplinary team, liaising with other departments within the trust. Ensure compliance with departmental policy, procedures and our clinical governance framework. Aim to drive continuous improvement and be responsible for keeping an up to date CPD folder.
