Our new Northern Care Alliance NHS Group unites five local hospitals to deliver high quality care across the North East of Greater Manchester.

We require a well motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as the Housekeeper.

This role includes the undertaking of daily organisation, audits and cleanliness of the ward environment. A housekeeper job checklist has been devised to assist and guide the successful candidate in the performance of the role.

You will be working with a fantastic and supportive team who will be happy to assist you as settle within the team. Regular feedbacks and one to ones will be provided by your manager to ensure that you stay happy in your job.

Duties include stores ordering, management of stock, meals delivery and maintenance of ward equipment also including general housekeeping of the ward. Answering Telephone enquires, filing notes and making appointment.

It is essential that you are able to work in an orderly and systematic manner, possess good literacy, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.

You should have a caring attitude, as well as the ability to work effectively under direction as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Previous experience of working in a hospital setting, and previous housekeeper/Ward Clerk work experience with experience of ordering and managing stock would be advantageous to this role, however in-house training will be provided.

The days will be set, these being a Thursday and Friday. There is the opportunity to work a Wednesday on ward L5, which would mean increasing the hours to 22.5hrs.
