Health Records Supervisor – BAND 3
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the clerical team in the Health Records Department at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be responsible for providing a full clerical support service within the Health Records Department. The main focus of the role will be to supervise and support the Evolve Scanning team.
Computer literacy and experience in the accurate inputting of data is an essential requirement for this post as are organisational skills . Methodical method of working and a keen eye for detail is crucial to this role.
Being flexible and adaptable to change is crucial to this particular role.
Training on in-house information systems however, will be provided.
Important Notice on Visa Sponsorship Eligibility
Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route.
This is due to the position not meeting Skilled Worker Route and salary threshold of £41,700 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.

To be part of the on call rota for Bank Holidays.

Education & Qualifications
Essential criteria
- English & Maths, GCSE level 4 and above, O'Levels grade A-C, or equivalent qualifications or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- ECDL/CLAIT - Qualification or working towards
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- General knowledge of office procedures
- Strong verbal communication skills
- IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Desirable criteria
- Customer Service Training
- Awareness of Date Protection, Information Governance and standards for maintaining health records
- Knowledge of NHS environment
Experience
