Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join the Rheumatology Pharmacy team. This is a continuation of a role recently introduced to support the current rheumatology pharmacy team to provide medicine support to rheumatology patients. You will work directly within this dynamic and friendly team as well as part of the wider rheumatology team.
Flexible working pattern will be considered.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administration duties and be expected to work independently but will be part of the wider team within the Rheumatology Department. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisation and communication skills, be flexible and well-motivated. They will enjoy working with people, engaging with colleagues at all levels and will possess a flexible and positive attitude to work.
You must have a good standard of general education and you will also need an excellent telephone manner and have the ability to work under pressure. Previous NHS experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To provide administrative support to the Rheumatology Department. The post holder will undertake a range of administrative duties including electronic record keeping, filing, scanning, data collection and photocopying. The post holder will also be responsible for co-ordinating medicine delivery and supporting the pharmacist with a number of clinics including medicine education clinics. They will also be communicating with departments and patients via the telephone and email.
