Job overview

Pennine Care Pre Registration Facilitator Team are recruiting an Allied Health Professional to develop and support Practice Placements within Mental Health and Learning Disability Services across the Trust footprint.  The role is essential to ensure that AHP students experience high quality learning experiences and that all educators are fully prepared to supervise and assess students in practice.

Main duties of the job

  •  Assess the quality of learning environments against quality assurance standards, suggesting improvement measures to enhance the student learning experience. Participate in single Quality Assurance multiprofessional site visits across the Trust. Facilitate development, ensuring a sufficient provision of clinical practice educators across relevant service areas; providing supervision and support structures, building education in practice. Design, structure, deliver and co-ordinate interprofessional learning activity across a service area(s). Develop and maintain links with Education Providers to support clinical practice supervisors and assessors. For example, attending AHP forums and attendance at Northwest AHP fairshare allocations meetings for Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language placements. Coordination of the OT Trawl for student capacity numbers in each practice placement area. contributing to curriculum development, validation and review.
