Job overview

Education / Qualifications
Essential criteria
- • Relevant professional qualification: RMN/RGN
- • Evidence of relevant education to at least degree level or evidence of appropriate professional development
Desirable criteria
- • Evidence of appropriate post qualifying training/NMP/Assistant Practitioner.
- • Trained Nurse Mentor.
Experience
Essential criteria
- • Appropriate demonstrable experience of working in secondary care mental health services.
- • Experience of chairing adult safeguarding investigations
Desirable criteria
- • Leadership/management qualification/appropriate training or relevant experience e.g. recruitment & selection etc.
- • Experience of supervising others.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- • Knowledge of best practice relevant to the work of a CMHT
- • Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. CPA
