Main duties of the job

MFT’s Digital Team

Joining the digital service puts you at the heart of the Trust’s digital enablement journey.  The implementation of the Hive Electronic Patients Record (EPR), powered by EPIC, in September 2022, which was the biggest of its kind in the UK at that time, was the first step in realising the MFT vision of a ‘Digital First’ organisation and significantly increases the Trust’s capability to unleash the power of data, through its ability to capture high quality/volume acute clinical and non-clinical services data and to exploit this data to catalyse digital transformation and support improved patient care.

As a member of the digital team you will directly support the organisation to deliver and improve clinical quality, patient and staff experience, operational effectiveness, and research.  We’re proud of the positive impact we make every day to the lives of our colleagues and our patients and we’re excited to offer you the opportunity to join our team.

We set standards that other Trusts seek to emulate so you’ll benefit from a scale of opportunity that is nothing short of extraordinary.

We’ve also created a digitally enabled organisation to improve clinical quality, patient & staff experience, operational effectiveness & driving research, and innovation through the introduction of Hive; our Electronic Patient Record system which launched in September 2022.

We’re proud to be a major academic Research Centre & Education provider, providing you with a robust infrastructure to encourage and facilitate high-quality research programmes.
