An opportunity has arisen to join the Catering Team at Clatterbridge Hospital.

The main duties will be to assist the Catering team with the patient meal service provision and provide a complete meal time service to patients on the wards. 

This includes transport of food and crockery and utensils, meal time service, washing up and tidying down the areas and supporting colleagues on other wards when required.

Essential criteria
  • Complete a basic food hygiene course and understand food safety regulations
  • Be aware of HACCP, Health and Safety at work including COSHH
  • Preferred intermediate hygiene certificate

Knowledge and Skills

  • Understand good practice with regard to quality & customer care
  • Catering Divisions Policies

  • To undertake a good working relationship with patients, staff, and visitors
