Job overview

Following the appropriate training:

 

· The post holder will assist in the delivery of podiatry.

· Implement individualised patient care plans as prescribed by a Podiatrist registered with the Health Care

Professions Council, in clinics, patient’s homes and residential homes.

· Manufacture, finish and fit orthoses as prescribed by a podiatrist.

 

To be able to communicate with the public, professional and non-professional staff.

To have access to a suitable vehicle for work purposes.

  • Basic level of education in maths and english
  • Ability to undertake relevant foot care qualification where required

  • NVQ Level 3 in foot care, equivalent qualification or equivalent relevant experience

  • Previous work experience in a health or social care environment
