Job overview

An Exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Dental Hospital Management Team as  PA. 

This role will involve a wide range of personal secretarial duties and offer the opportunity to take on additional responsibility in support of the management team. 

The role would suit a positive, up-beat, hard working and motivated individual who is used to working in a challenging and pressured workplace. With such pressures comes a sense of team morale and accomplishment, as evidenced by our CQC rating of Outstanding - the post holder will be recognised as an important member of the management team and will work closely with the team as we seek to serve our patients.

The post holder will be flexible in their approach and should be able to work with minimal supervision 

Main duties of the job

  • Diary Management
  • Meeting Arrangements/minute taking
  • Production of reports, presentations and other correspondence.
  • Support to Microsoft Teams meetings.
  • Development of appropriate data storage systems.
  • Close collaboration with the Management Team on a daily basis.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Based on the Dental Hospital Management corridor, the post holder will assist in dealing with a number of queries on a daily basis, becoming familiar with Dental Core Trainee Rotation, HR Processes, registering new staff on Trust systems and liaising with University of Liverpool whilst adding value to our patients.

Education/Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Educated to GCSE/O Level standard/equivalent or highe
  • RSA/OCR Typing/Word processing Level 111 or equivalent
  • RSA/OCR A
  • Secretarial Qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • ECDL
  • Shorthand

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Excellent I.T. skills with knowledge and experience of all Microsoft office packages
  • Experience working in an NHS office environment as a secretary
