- FRCOphth., FRCS or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- PhD, MD (research), BSc
Research
Essential criteria
- Publications in subspecialty field within the last 3 years
Desirable criteria
- Clinical or basic science research project idea or question
Attainments
Essential criteria
- Completion of core training and further experience in Clinical and surgical skills commensurate with demands of the post
- Evidence of being a competent cataract surgeon
Desirable criteria
- Possession of new skill not available in department
- Experience in keratoconus management, Corneal surgery
- Experience in corneal imaging including confocal microscopy
Disposition
Essential criteria
- Flexible attitude to work, team working, punctual and conscientious
