Band 8a

Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Team based at The Walton Centre. The post holder will play a key role in the management of patients with a range of neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including active involvement in prescribing medicines for this specialist patient group. The role will also support the supervision and development of pharmacists and technicians within the neurosciences service, ensuring the provision of a high-quality, safe and effective clinical pharmacy service.

The post holder will be supported by the Lead Clinical Pharmacists and will be an experienced pharmacist with the ability to provide clinical leadership and take responsibility for the delivery of a proactive, patient-centred specialist pharmacy service across neurosciences. The role also offers opportunities to work collaboratively with teams across the organisation, contributing to service development, education, research and cross-site working.
