Team Manager - Complex Care
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist inpatient and community mental health, learning disabilities, addiction and acquired brain injury services for the people of Liverpool, Sefton and Kirkby, Merseyside. We also provide community physical health services in Liverpool, Sefton, secure mental health services for the North West of England, the West Midlands and Wales and specialist learning disability services across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an opportunity to lead and manage Complex Care Services for Older People at South Seton Neighbourhood Centre
You will be responsible for leading a large team of experienced mental health practitioners, Occupational Therapist and support staff ensuring that an exceptional quality of care is provided to all of our service users and that such quality is captured through Key Performance Indicators. You will provide excellent leadership across the South Sefton Complex Care Service for Older People of Memory Service, Care Home Liaison and Community Mental Health Team.
Having at least 2 years Band 6 practitioner experience or equivalent, we are looking for an enthusiastic person who can motivate a large team and be a role model, remaining positive even at times of high pressure. Having pride and passion in the quality of care that we provide is absolutely pivotal to the role.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate a key interest in maintaining excellent data quality. Our performance should match the reality of the care that we are providing and as a team leader you would be responsible for ensuring that this happens.
South Sefton Neighbourhood Centre is an integrated community mental health hub and is home to the Early Intervention Service, Community Mental Health Teams and Complex Care Services. The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a Leadership Team, providing (and receiving) cover and support from your Team Leader peers in the other teams at SSNC. This role will suit somebody who is constantly thinking about service improvement and change. You will be supported to lead a service creatively and autonomously.
