We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Therapy Assistant to join the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
As part of the Transforming Cancer Care programme, the trust has built a state of the art cancer centre in the heart of Liverpool which opened in June 2020. This post will be based in our main inpatient hospital in Liverpool, although you may be asked to work in one of our local hubs in Wirral and Aintree on occasion.
You will need to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including a minimum of C grade in English and Maths and be confident using computer systems.
You will need to have some experience of working in a health care environment and have some knowledge of the role of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.

Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a small team to support the Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in providing a clinical services to both inpatients and outpatients within the Centre. The post would involve both direct patient contact and clinical administration tasks for the team.
The Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists work as part of the wider AHP team, including Dietitians and Speech and Language therapists, to provide a comprehensive therapy service to patients receiving cancer treatment at the Centre.
