Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking for the next Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation at an exciting but challenging time.
The person
You will be a visionary, passionate, open and inclusive Chief Executive Officer who is committed to tackling inequalities in healthcare outcomes, improving experience and access for our patients, service users, staff and partners. An experienced leader operating at or close to Chief Executive level in a complex health or care environment, you will be robust and innovative in the use of data and technology and compassionate in your leadership of people and services.
An inspiring communicator, your consistent focus on service users and patients and improvement will be evident and allow you to quickly gain credibility with our Board, our staff, Governors, partners and the people who we serve. Most importantly you will role-model our values of Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Support.

Mersey Care is one of the country’s largest Trusts providing physical and mental health services, serving more than 1.4 million people across the North West. The Trust provides specialist inpatient and community services that support physical and mental health and specialist inpatient learning disability, addiction and brain injury services.
