Job overview
We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 8b Clinical Service Manager to join a vibrant and diverse leadership team delivering Allied Health Professional services and Phlebotomy across Community Services in Mersey Care
Main duties of the job
This role will manage services, resources and information through delegated responsibility from the Head of Operations.
To lead the development of a Oral Nutritional Supplementation rationalisation service on behalf of the Cheshire and Merseyside system.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Through delegated responsibility from the Head of Operations, to jointly lead in the management of all service clinical and operational matters as they relate to the delivery of care; ensuring appropriate audit and review as required.
To manage staff activity and ensure that human resource, sickness absence and performance monitoring and management issues are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
To take lead responsibility for the management of annual leave for those staff they manage to ensure service provision is not adversely affected.
To lead on the management of adverse incidents; ensuring that investigations are undertaken thoroughly and that subsequent recommendations are shared and implemented effectively.
To lead for the service on the monitoring of patient complaints; ensuring these are investigated timely and effectively and that recommendations from same are actioned so that learning can be shared, and delivery of care improved.
