Job overview

We have an exciting job opportunity in the Main Theatre Department, Princess of Wales Hospital.

A Recovery position is available in our Main Theatre* suite for a committed Nurse or ODP.

Main duties of the job

The department is looking for enthusiastic individuals to work covering a variety of specialities.

The role encompasses all shift types to meet departmental needs and requires individuals who are hard working, motivated and keen to further their development within a supportive culture

The Operating Theatres at the Princess of Wales Hospital are an exciting and interesting place to work. Emergency cover is 24/7 365 days a year.

We offer a range of Surgical specialities including –

Emergency and Trauma

Orthopaedics

Gynaecology

Obstetrics

General Surgery

ENT

Ophthalmic

Urology

Paediatrics

This is a big opportunity in a vibrant Health Board. We are committed to staff education and development with a Theatre Specialist Trainer available to teach on site and support is provided through mentors and a highly experienced team.
