Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Digital Assistant Project Manager to join the newly established Digital Transformation Team. As an integral part of the Digital & Data Directorate in CTM, the team have a rapidly expanding portfolio of challenging and interesting projects, including electronic prescribing and medicines administration, transforming patient contact services and several smaller projects supporting direct care.
Under the guidance of a Digital Transformation Project Manager and working closely with Project Team members, the successful candidate will be expected work collaboratively with operational and clinical colleagues and the wider digital team to improve the outcomes of our patients, citizens and families that we serve, as outlined in the Health Board’s strategy CTM 2030.
Candidates will be expected to have experience in projects using PRINCE 2 and understand project methodologies, tools and governance. Skills include; excellent communication and organisational skills.
As a proactive and positive member of the team, the post holder will play an important role in supporting the implementation of key transformation project objectives which will enable and support the vital work of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB).

Main duties of the job
The post holder will have to support and carry out a variety of project related activities, depending on the project needs. Those activities may cover, but not limited to, project support including; managing RAID logs, minute taking; business change and analysis, training and engagement, procurement and testing. They may also manage some of those work streams and/or small projects.
The post holder will have responsibilities across the whole of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board and work within organisational and professional policies and procedures, possibly on multiple projects.
These posts are fixed term/secondments, one post for 12 months and one for 36 months due to funding. If you are interested in applying for it as a secondment, please obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying.
