Job overview
 is responsible f or the provision of a reception/ front house service, ensuring that
telephone calls, correspondence and direct contacts with clients and other internal or external
agencies are dealt with in an appropriate, efficient and professional manner, using judgement and
discretion where necessary and ref erring complex matters to relevant senior members of staff .
They are also responsible f or the development, implementation and maintenance of of f ice
practices and procedures to ensure that all non-clinical requirements of the team are met. This
post is vital in providing a cost-effective, person-centred service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Inputting accurate patient information onto various databases. Supporting the local team with administrative duties. Typing of patient letters, reports assessments. Minute taking for team meetings.
To be the first point of contact for some patients who may be distressed. Cross cover for administrative staff of various grades in their absence. Other duties as required and dependant on the needs of the service.
