An opportunity has arisen to join our nursing team in the Children's Assessment Unit at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. We are looking for Registered Paediatric Band 5 Staff Nurse to cover maternity leave. The vacant post is part time, fixed term from June 2019 to January 2020 and is based at the Royal Gwent Hospital Newport. The Children's Assessment Unit (CAU) is a secondary referral unit delivering care to children and young people aged 0 - 16 years and their families.
The successful applicant will have a flexible attitude and a warm caring approach to children and their families. The posts will include day and night shifts and the successful post holder will need to be willing to work anywhere within the division including Nevill Hall Children’s ward, the Neonatal Service and Children’s Community Team if the need arises.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
