Health Care Support Worker

We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Care Support Workers to join our elective urology ward. The ward houses minor and major urology with some breast surgery. The Ward provides quality care to patients requiring major and minor elective and emergency operations. Also, within your duties you will be expected to meet and greet patients to ensure checks are complete upon arrival to the Ward.

Individuals must be motivated, enthusiastic and reliable. You must be a team player who is committed to improving the patient experience and supporting the junior staff on the ward.

The successful applicant must be caring and hard working, with good communication skills, and be able to work well in a team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is currently advertised at Band 2. The role is under review within the Health Board as part of a national review and may, in future, progress to Band 3 with an updated job description. If appointed, your manager will ensure you are kept informed and will support you through any changes, including discussing relevant training requirements
