This is an exciting opportunity to join the transformational programme to support EOC reconfiguration.
You will be joining the team at an early stage and will, in time, become the subject matter expert on the change process, hearing our employee voice and supporting managers to deliver this change.
Main duties of the job
The HR Business Partner will be embedded in either a Trust business unit, operational locality, or specialist service area or as part of a specific programme for delivering transformation to provide strategic advice and guidance to the Local Management Teams.

Essential criteria
- Highly specialist knowledge of one or more HR topics to masters level equivalent acquired through degree and professional HR qualification plus additional training or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- Qualified Mediator
- Qualified Coach
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of the People issues affecting the NHS and the ambulance service
- Experience of working in a large and complex organisation
- Experience of organisational change
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law
- Knowledge of employment law and employee relations processes.
- Significant experience of working with management teams advising on HR policy and procedure
- Experience of supporting change management within a large complex environment
- Experience of working as an embedded HR Business Partner
- Ability to analyse complex facts and situations and develop a range of options.
- Ability to make decisions autonomously, when required, on difficult and contentious issues, working to tight and often changing timescales.
- Experience of identifying and interpreting national policy
- Negotiate on difficult and controversial issues including performance and change.
