Job overview

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Team administrator to join the Secure Services Central Administration Team Cedar House, St Clements Hospital Site, Ipswich .  The team forms part of Secure Services, offering inpatient and community based care for our service user group. 

The successful candidate will work with the Suffolk Community Team providing ongoing day-to-day administrative processes to the clinicians and Consultants, and also provide supervision to the Clinical Team Administrator.  They will work alongside other administrators within the Secure Service and assist the team to continually refine and improve the service offered. 

Main duties of the job

The ideal post holder will be very organised, with experience in administrative settings, and ideally have knowledge of healthcare/ the NHS.

The post holder will manage the workload of the Suffolk Secure Services  Community Administration team, including minute taking, typing up reports, liaising with other agencies and dealing with telephone and email enquiries and other day to day administrative processes that support the service. 

The post holder will have line management responsibilities for the current Community Team Clinical Administrator, and the post holder will  work under the supervision of the Administration Manager.
