Job overview

We are seeking an inspirational and compassionate Locality Director of Nursing to lead our nursing workforce across the West Norfolk locality. You will provide professional leadership to nurses and support the leadership of AHPs, psychologists, and social workers. As part of a triumvirate leadership team, you will work alongside the Locality Medical Director and Director of Operations to deliver strategic, visible, and clinically focused leadership.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care.
  • Leading on clinical governance, safeguarding, and patient experience.
  • Driving continuous improvement and embedding evidence-based practice.
  • Developing strategic plans aligned with Trust priorities.
  • Building strong relationships across localities, corporate teams, and external partners.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a Registered Nurse, ideally a Registered Mental Health Nurse, with significant leadership experience in mental health settings. You will have a proven track record in transforming care, improving quality and safety, and influencing colleagues and partners to deliver outstanding services.

You will be:
