You will be joining an experienced and supportive team striving to meet the swallowing and communication needs of both in-patients and out-patients with highly complex profiles.

The SLT assistant will work as part of the multidisciplinary team providing support to speech and language therapists by carrying out individual programmes of care for adult patients under the Colman Centre.  They will work both alongside the therapists or alone (but under the therapist’s direction). This will involve lone working in the community across Norfolk. They will work under the supervision of SLT to undertake a variety of clinical and non-clinical duties to support the delivery of the service. This will include administrative support for patient related activity and shared responsibility of indirect patient contact tasks.

Main duties of the job
