Are you an experienced and enthusiastic ESR user looking for your next opportunity? Join our Workforce Information Team and play a key role in supporting employees throughout their employment journey.

We’re seeking a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented Administrator to become part of our friendly, close-knit team, with bases across Norfolk and Suffolk.

About the Role
In this role, you will:

  • Deliver accurate and timely workforce information to support organisational needs

  • Carry out proactive data quality checks and maintenance

  • Support the implementation of new processes as part of ongoing projects

  • Use our HR system to produce both standard and ad hoc reports

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience using ESR (Electronic Staff Record)

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills

  • Is highly organised with great attention to detail

  • Is confident using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

  • Enjoys working collaboratively while managing their own workload

Main duties of the job

  • Maintain, administer, and support the ESR system, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to ESR users, providing expert guidance and support

  • Develop and deliver training on ESR Business Intelligence reporting, enabling users to confidently access and interpret data

  • Produce a wide range of routine and ad hoc workforce reports using ESR and other HR systems, tailored to user needs

  • Analyse workforce data and present insights to support decision-making

  • Respond to system queries efficiently while adhering to Data Protection and Information Governance standards

  • Assist with Freedom of Information requests and statutory workforce returns

This is a varied and impactful role where your expertise will help ensure high-quality workforce data, support organisational reporting needs, and enhance user capability across ESR systems.

Essential criteria
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
  • Relevant IT qualification to advance ECDL standard or similar

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Use of ESR including maintenance and running standard reports
  • Thorough experience of using Business Intelligence and being able to advise on subject area

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Advanced IT skills including ability to maintain and administer IT system.
  • Able to analyse complex data and identify options for action
