Job overview
This vacancy is to provide administrative services for our Norwich Daycare Team within HMP Norwich and to be available for cover to other services within the Integrated Mental Health and Justice Pathway Team. The Daycare Team consists of Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and others who provide a support service for those prisoners who are struggling with mental health difficulties.
We are looking for a Clinical Team administrator to join the Secure Services Central Administration Team.
The successful candidate will work with the Integrated Mental Health and Justice Pathway Administration Team providing ongoing day-to-day administrative processes and assist the team to continually refine and improve the service offered.
Main duties of the job
The ideal post holder will be very organised, with experience in administrative settings, and ideally have knowledge of healthcare/ the NHS.
The post holder will carry out tasks for the Integrated Mental Health and Justice Pathway team, covering the day to day administrative needs for the team and the processes that support the service. This may include, amongst other things, use of Prison and Trust electronic patient record systems and other data collection as required for KPIs.
The post holder work under the supervision of the Senior Clinical Team Administrator.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within the NHS, providing administrative support to our Forensic Community team and includes tasks like:
- maintaining and uploading up to date information to the patient record,
- typing correspondence and reports,
- preparing agendas and taking minutes at team meetings,
- managing incoming email and telephone queries.
Please note that full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Pitman/RSA III Typing/Word Processing or equivalent secretarial experience at intermediate level
- NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or working toward
- NVQ 2 Customer Services or working toward
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of Trust electronic patient record system
Knowledge

- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages or equivalent

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
