We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, FNP Quality Support Officer to work within our  0-19 Service contract in Gateshead.

 

 

Main duties of the job

The Quality Support Officer is responsible for a wide range of quality support and administrative functions including data management of the local programme.  The collection, collation, input and quality check of data into the central Information System is a critical element of demonstrating how well the programme is being delivered at individual nurse and team level, with regular information being provided to senior managers, Boards and the National Unit.

Having oversight of the team’s data, working with the Supervisor to ensure it is up to date and that reports are compiled for the Advisory Board and other relevant strategic forums is a core requirement of the role.   Accuracy and timeliness of data inputting is therefore essential as well as competence with business systems and software packages. Other elements of the role include support to create and manage resources, liaison with programme clients and a wide range of FNP stakeholders.  To carry out this role effectively, the role holder should expect to be based with members of the FNP team in order to facilitate effective co-working.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good standard of education, including English & Maths A-C or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • ECDL and/or advanced keyboard skills
  • A recognised secretarial qualification or minimum 3 years admin/clerical experience.
Desirable criteria
  • Some understanding of the Family Nurse Programme Children’s health and social care knowledge

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Working in an office environment
  • Proficient in Word, excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, database systems
  • The ability to work on own initiative, problem solving and making decisions without supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Clinical data inputting
  • Proven experience of handling sensitive and confidential issues
  • Ability to manage and deliver workload to strict deadlines
  • The postholder must be able to make own travel arrangements for business usage
