Harrogate and District Foundation Trust have an excellent full time opportunity for an individual who wants to learn new skills and gain a recognised qualification.
This post is based in the Imaging department and is a support role within the Imaging Service involving an Apprenticeship. The Apprenticeship programme is run from Cumbria and so you must be able to travel and attend the sessions in Lancaster if required.
This role is Band 3 with the view to progress to Band 4 upon completion of the Apprenticeship program.
Main duties of the job
This two year programme prepares you for a career as an Assistant Radiographic Practitioner in the NHS to deliver imaging examinations within a defined scope of practice. You will work as part of an imaging team who will provide you with the support and supervision that you require for the duration of your apprenticeship. You will undertake your academic programme with the University of Cumbria. The apprenticeship programme includes a combination of work based learning and academic modules both online and face to face at the academic institute.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Maths and English GCSE grade C/4 or above / Functional skills level 2 / International equivalent.
You will be a highly motivated, hardworking individual who strives to deliver excellent care. Ideally you will have some experience in a care setting and have good verbal and written communication skills and reasonable level of numeracy.
The department operates across a 24/7 service.
